There are several traditional styles of delivering a coaching session. Coaches often use Skype or the telephone as it means busy clients can experience their session from the comfort of their own home or office. There is also face to face in a meeting room for example.
While I offer both of these, but also I offer coaching walks which are ideal for people who find themselves at a crossroads either professionally or personally. These give you the chance to be outside, away from the stresses, strains and interruptions of the office environment. There is fresh air, fields, wild and domesticated animals to observe, flowers, trees blowing in the wind. Sometimes the sun also shines!
I’m joking about the latter of course, but the point is, whatever the weather, it’s good to be outdoors, breathing deeply in the fresh air and getting some exercise.
A coaching walk has all these benefits:
- Calms the mind
- Gives you clarity
- Improves your mood
- Stimulates creativity
- Shifts your perspective
- Heightens awareness of your surroundings
- Inspires you to move forward with your thinking
- Sharpens your thinking
- Gives you focus
- Inspires action
I am based near the stunning Chilterns countryside (click here for information about The Chilterns), which is only a short train journey from London.
I am always astonished that so much natural beauty is so close by and I’d love to share my coaching walk experiences with you.
They usually last between 1.5 – 2 hours plus your journey time. I can tailor them to where you are travelling from – for example, if you come into Chesham, we can walk locally there. If Aylesbury or High Wycombe, Beaconsfield or Gerards Cross are easier for you, then we can walk near you.
If travelling outside London is too problematic, there is lots of lovely green space in the capital we can access. Please call me to discuss your needs.
